I've got two injured shoulders from aikido, having to take a break at the moment due to it, has been over a year and they're not coming right, off to physio on monday and will get a scan etc... quite shit really, can't even throw a ball overarm to my boy :(

Be wary with cortisone injections, you get one shot at it, and you need to go gentle on it even tho' it will feel better until things stabilize, otherwise you can do a lot more damage!!

Did it work? I'm google diagnosing, I'm between doctors and I have psoriasis and 2 fucked up knees and a shoulder. Could be the covid for all I actually know :) I suppose I should actually fill out the form and go to the new doctor. Especially after 6 months...
Frozen shoulder is age and wear and tear related. Will find out if it works over the next few days. The technical term is Adhesive Capsulitis. Basically inflammation. You wake up with it, it's not an injury from a fall, or activity. Then, if you're lucky, it fucks off after 2-3 months. I'm not lucky.
Physio told me that it can take up to 2 years to clear up. I don't remember how long it took to recover but it was well over a year for me.
15 physio sessions, follow up exercises, 100% movement back after about 15 months. No pain whatsoever :D

It sounds like massage therapy would really help a lot of people in this thread. Having that on a semi-regular basis has unfucked my back and shoulders after years of just thinking it would go away.

If this is turning into a rub-fest, I'm not coming.

The physio sessions helped enormously and got rid of most of the pain in the first 3 months. Made sleeping possible again. Then there was very slow, incremental improvement over the next 12 months. So not all bad....

Fine people,
I was thinking of coming along with a car full of guitars each with a different set of my pickups covering the whole range. Here’s your chance to try some out guys, you can listen to sound samples for ever but you can’t beat playing them yourself. Anyone keen to try?

I won't be there, but look forward to hearing the feedback of others! Especially the P-90s...
