I've used Zoom for video chat's with mates and a couple of calls for work. If someone sets up the meeting I think other attendees can join without signing up. There's a 40min limit but most meetings I've been in have auto extended for free.

We have been using Windows Teams at work for twice weekly meetings, seems to work OK. I would be up for it since I have been self isolated for the last 7 months, talking to my care givers is my only social contact.

Had a long'ish drinking session last night, and an hour or so of beersies this arvo via zoom.
If someone with an account sets the meeting up, then all everyone else has to do is download the app to join. That part fairly much happens when the link to the meeting is pressed. Fairly easy.
No one ever died of hard work.. but why take the risk..
