Re: Kauer Guitars
I wish they'd trimmed the string ends.... and made the control layout more symmetrical, but otherwise its pretty cool!

Re: Kauer Guitars
I think he had a typo in the price when it was first listed (or maybe it was my eyes), for $550 it was a bargain!
Not sure about those knobs but overall it looks great.

I love them. Every model.
But, three pickups is a biatch.

Re: Kauer Guitars
It’s not the sound - it’s the height of a middle humbucker that gets in the way of picking. Strats (Robbie), have a narrow pickup so you can slip in either side.

Not that hard to bring the middle pickup away with an angle grinder is it ?GrantB wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 8:55 pmIt’s not the sound - it’s the height of a middle humbucker that gets in the way of picking. Strats (Robbie), have a narrow pickup so you can slip in either side.

Re: Kauer Guitars
Agreed, I had a Steph from Deftones signature guitar and he has this weird bridge and middle position humbucker setup, had to drop that middle humbucker so low it was redundant.GrantB wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 8:55 pmIt’s not the sound - it’s the height of a middle humbucker that gets in the way of picking.
