Desert Island Rig
Yes, you can assume that there’s a power supply on this island. One guitar, one amp and one pedal with price no barrier. You’re also allowed one album - what y’all choosing? I’ll start…

Re: Desert Island Rig
Hmmmm, couple ways I could go, but on this particular day I’ll go with:
Old, smelly TV yellow, double cut LP Special
Old Princeton Reverb
I’m going to go for a Line 6 DL4. Lots of options of delay to change things up, plus the looper. Plus the nostalgia factor of my youth.
Sigur Ros ‘Takk’.

I would like an old basketball that I could make friends with.
Difference is an accident of birth and it should therefore never be the source of hatred or conflict

Re: Desert Island Rig
Is it wrong that my first thought was of the desert climate, and how it's going to wreak havoc on that poor thing?

Re: Desert Island Rig
Funny how nobody has chosen an overdrive pedal yet haha. My thinking was that you wouldn’t need one because you’re on an island so can crank the amp! You’d also have to assume that getting replacement tubes is not an issue…

Ah, a desert island, nothing but me, my acoustic guitar, and my portable guitar humidor.

My car is actually Desert Island Blue in colour so I’m already there.
He hit a chord that rocked the spinet and disappeared into the infinite ...
