GrantB..... The devil made me do it!!!!
It's always nice when a box like this shows up in the mail;
I'm kind of toying with installing a humbucker, either a filtertron or a minihum. I'd do it in a similar style to the Jazzmaster I just done, cut out a dogear cover to fit the pickup. Watch this space!
I've been meaning to do this for a while so it got installed on to this;

Love me a Bigsby. Make's a typical LP pretty damn heavy though. Here's my old 2000 Sapphire Blue LP with Bigsby that I sold to a member here. It was reasonably light from memory.

Yeah, I'd put a Bigsby on pretty much everything given half a chance. I put one on my LP trad which was already a bit of an anchor but there's really not much difference between heavy and a bit heavier.

Do you think those set screws on the bridge could be trimmed a little? Just so I can sleep at night?kdawg2a wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2024 5:21 am It's always nice when a box like this shows up in the mail;

You know you're forcing my hand to look into the parts box for even longer screws right?
