I just got this in a trade. At first I thought it was a cream strat that had lived in a smokey environment but it turns out it's a 1 of 500 made colour for guitar center based on some original 50s car colour that fender didn't do back in the day.
When I popped the hood on it, I expected to see more of a cream underneath but it was more of a green instead.
The pickguard is supposed to be supposed to be single ply, 8 hole parchment but someone replaced it with a super tasteful mother of toilet seat. You can see the extra holes underneath.I think I'll source a correct guard for it.
I'm not sure how I think about the colour. It's kind of cool that it's not common but it's also not common for a pretty good reason.

That looks awesome! How many of these guitars are you planning to bring back with you? I love the look of this one.

Danny, if we make it back and I've still got this, it's yours!
I'm having a successful wee month in trades but I have some more trading to do so I can't promise this one will stick around. I'm chasing a 61 reissue SG with factory maestro which I'm really hoping to achieve without using any cash!
