I received this as part of a trade and it's a really nice guitar. Obviously, being a JM, I'll change almost every bit of it apart from the body, neck and pick guard.











..... I'm joking, it sounds really good. Kinda like some of those Novak JM gold foils though.

Novak does a JM gold foil humbucker too which I'm seriously looking into. I think one of those in the bridge and a single coil JM GF in the neck would make for a pretty sweet guitar.

I have these pickups and a suitable harness available so I'm thinking of heading down this path....

I've got a spare set of white covers. I was thinking of some careful dremelling to create openings in them for the trons to sit in so they kind of become pickup surrounds.

It would have been a great combo of cantankerous, old, beer soaked ludite and progressive, tech savvy, forward thinking, hip, aware, good bloke.
