Not a fan of hairline cracks, especially in supposedly their best work.Slowy wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2024 4:08 pm https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/marketplace ... 4572642372
This has got me intrigued. I have a lot of respect for Godin and this is supposedly their best work. Opinions?

I don't think I've ever owned a bolt on neck guitar that hasn't had a hairline crack somewhere around the neck pocket, but that one is a doozy.Jay wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2024 6:10 pmNot a fan of hairline cracks, especially in supposedly their best work.Slowy wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2024 4:08 pm https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/marketplace ... 4572642372

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and he'll spend thousands on fishing equipment he'll use for a bit, then get bored and move onto something else.

Re: Strats.
Played a SVL Strat the other day. Felt lovely. Just recently I played a a pre-CBS Jaguar (or was it a Jazzmaster?). Anyway, that neck felt similar in its played-inidness. Just lovely.
The SVL chap is also Pete Townsend's tech. Production halts when The Who are on tour.
