NGD Gibson LP Jnr
Well, another bucket lister thanks to Nany pointing it out on TM and another 'meet me by the cricket nets Kumeu style hand off' (hand off JB )
2009 Gibson LP junior SB .... my virgin les paul. And not even a hint of tigers vagina burst or interference from a clown.
Id had thought TV yellow would be the one but alas the plectrum burts got there first.
Natural mahogony back. Pickup is a tyson p90 and there is some sort of fandagled emerson cap in there somewhere.
In really nice shape (unfortunately). The nitro feels lovely and thin so it should respond to a light beating.
Frets barely worn, electronics work (i see this as a binary thing really)
Plays disgustingly well. The guitar is light and resonant blah blah but it has that magical easy playing stickability. You dont want to put it down. And more than any guitar I own it is just sooooooo easy to play. I was learning the solo for 'My Best Friends Girlfriend' on my gretsch and then JM, with some success. But man oh man is it easy to play on this.
Im far from an expert when it comes to p90s but these thing thicks the boxes for me. It probably wouldnt be hot enough for some but its right in my wheelhouse. Can crank enough but has lots of chimey articulate character.

You can finally play all those Green Day covers you’ve been yearning to play!
Great guitar, love it. Miss my old Junior.

That's awesome but I didn't point this out to you though. It was Danny. The extra "n" matters around here

Sorry. Couldn’t help it
One of my favourite jokes involves someone asking the person at the DMV counter to make sure the spell their name Steven with a V
Ok but wouldn’t it be pronounced Veven then?
