This plan would likely involve me selling my Strat. My time with Jazzmasters and P90 guitars make me think I won't miss it too much. Funny how tastes change. That Continuum/WTLI tone has been what I have been chasing for so many years.

Great tone, a Guild and 335 are part of that, not a novo

I mean the Strat tones from that era. I have other references for humbucker tones (e.g. Brothers in Arms, Sloe Gin)

Brothers in Arms is a fantastic MK tone. Which Sloe Gin were you referring to?

That is rather interesting, throughout the ages most pro musicians/artists seem to gig with mainstream brands just name any pro musician and you can think of either Fender/Gibson/PRS/Suhr. Suhr is not that mainstream but they do produce heaps unlike a boutique maker like Novo
Most bands gig with kit that can be repaired or replaced easily and at reasonable cost.

Nice! That was one of the songs I listened to in my early blues discovery.

Decent song, great playing, great tone, well recorded and mixed. A lot to like.

Wait until I plug it in to one of your vintage Fender amps and play an Am pentatonic lick littered with flat fifths.
