Pretty deceitful company. Traded on the Made in Germany thing for years. Would never answer a straight question about the actual place of manufacture. I've had a couple and didn't think they were worthy of the price tag. Thought they were ok. Just ok.

To each their own though. Met a guy here recently selling a Trussart Tele (pretty disappointing too). He owned a Duesenberg and said he loved it from the moment he first played it.

Funny, I agree, but also absolutely love their guitar's.

I watched the whole video and came away with a little more respect for their processes if anything. (Guess that was Duesenbergs intention)
I’ve only owned one Duesenberg, a black Double Cat. It was beautifully setup and the action was spot on. After playing it a few times I just couldn’t gel with the pickups, sort of the high fi nature I think. Went back to a stock Telecaster which didn’t play as well but sounded more like how I wanted.
Still have a lot of respect for Duesenbergs playability and setup standards.
