Coleman guitars?
Nothing I can find on NZGuitars.com. Google search led me to this website. The headstock logo is different ('e' in Coleman is different) and the headstock is different.
Anybody have any idea? I saw another Coleman guitar way back which was a goldtop Les Paul Special copy.

Re: Coleman guitars?
I don't think those ones on FB and the ones on the US site are the same. Looks like the US builder uses necks from USA Custom Guitars, and other quality bits. The ones on FB look like a homemade body with a made in China neck from ebay or something.

Yeah, you're right on the money.Starfire wrote: ↑Sun Aug 07, 2022 8:57 am I don't think those ones on FB and the ones on the US site are the same. The US builder is Bob Coleman.
I checked with the seller. It was made by Mike Coleman.
Also the bolt-on neck plate looks dodgy as in terms of installation.

Re: Coleman guitars?
Yeah it got me fooled too with the name and the logo being similar to the US authentic one.

Re: Coleman guitars?
Seller responded:
"The guitar was made by Mike Coleman, who I bought it from.
It all works well, as far as I can tell. Pickups are SDs, vintage Tele in the neck and Stag Mag in the bridge.
Frets, neck, etc. all great.."
Worst case scenario: you could make some of your money back by stripping it for parts. But I'm gonna pass on this one.
If somebody here is interested, his name is Damir Roje, it's on Facebook marketplace and the guitar can be picked up in Torbay. You could try low-balling him and just flip the parts for a profit. Mention the fact that this listing has been on FB marketplace forever and maybe he could accept a lower offer if you say you'll take it off his hands today or whatever.
