Godin guitars

I'd never heard of these guitars 'till Monday, when I saw two poms using them onstage. Anyone here tried one?

Great guitars! I had one years ago, guessing NZRS is the distributor for them over here as they usually have a few at their Hornby store

I've owned a Summit, albeit briefly as my brother stole it from me (he borrowed it and refused to give it back, gave me what I paid for it instead).

It was a great guitar, but they do tend to fly under the radar and have a habit of being that guitar you really like, but for some reason don't really bond with.
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

Jean Godin was hosted by the RS in November 2015. Great session with a visionary and entertaining man. Here's the thread:

When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

I tried a couple during my epic 'play every mid range acoustic in the shop' morning.
I found the godins to be completely ...adaqute.

I have two!

A quilt maple LG-XT (solidbody electric with the Roland midi system built into it), and a Montreal Premiere (semi-hollowbody)

Very good quality kit

I had a couple. Nothing wrong with them but nothing memorable or special either.

I just bought a seagull guitar. Seagull is a Godin brand. It’s great for the money.
They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.
