thats seriously one of the nicest looking fender basses ive seen. The crazing is great.

Oops, It's a 2000, not 2012. My bad.
I bought the bass about 14 months ago on TM and the crazing and neck wear was already in place. I think it's a very thin skin of nitro. I have another 62 Jazz AVRI from 1997 which I gigged extensively from 1999 onwards. I was playing 4 - 5 times a week for a long time and that bass still looks amazing. Crazy eh?
