I'm planning on getting one of the new Yamaha Revstar Standard guitars but need some help deciding what colour to get. Since it will be a left-handed model, there are only two colours to choose from thankfully;
Black or
Swift Blue .
I'm naturally drawn to, and currently leaning towards the
Black version. But the
Swift Blue just looks so darn cool!

Thanks in advance for the input/opinions.

Yeah definitely blue. Don't listen to Beeg: he still likes tweed.

I like tweed. Therefore black.

Only thing I find off-putting about the blue is that the pickguard doesn't quite match the racing stripes - seems more parchment/yellow. Hard to tell what it would look like in person or how it would age.
But you can't go wrong, these look awesome.

I'd go the black, but I reckon it depends a lot on your personal style.

Dunno. My ears can’t tell which colour sounds better.

Tough decision, as both look cool. The blue looks a bit more subtle, whereas the black looks tougher.
