Seeing that pic with chrome ware next to that shiny HB looks right at home especially with the pick guard - black not so much

I still have the old loaded pick guard from my HSS after i converted to SSS. Pearly Gates plus from memory. Can't bear to sell as its 1996 USA original with the strat. Plus I feel like one day Ill prolly change my mind and go back 🙄

Look what just arrived, complete with some mild relicing so it fits in with the rest of the guitar, can't wait for the pickguard to arrive and get it all together!

Watching with interest as I'm keen to do this to my Squire.
I'm guessing using the Obsidian HSS kit works out the whole single/HB, 250k/500k pot issue?

It sure does, however if you don't want to go that route Glyn offered to send me the bits and a schematic to allow it to work with standard wiring :)

Final piece of the puzzle has arrived, should have some time at the weekend to route the humbucker slot and we’ll be in business!

Oh I’m not going to use that as a template, going to design and 3d print one which has a hole for the bridge as well so I don’t need to remove it :-)
