It's quite a different guitar. Jems and RGs are quite flat bodies where-as this is much rounder and feels a bit less bulky.
The necks aren't entirely dissimilar, Jems feel a bit flatter than the neck on this, but also wider.
Build quality, this is definitely where you see a difference, super tight build and the stainless frets are almost mirror polished.

I love Jems and RGs. My biggest guitar based regret was selling my original 77FP floral jem.
