NOD: Fender Toronado

Post by Jake »

New offset day - picked up this Toronado GT at cash converters.
This is from 2005, Fender were making a few guitars in Korea at that time and I think they're pretty good bang for buck. Mahogany body, rosewood fretboard, Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates and '59 pickups. Pretty much a Les Paul
Photos make the finish look quite yellow, it's a bit greener in reality. Gave it a much needed clean and a setup, plays really well and sounds decent, need to get the pickup height right still I think.

Very cool. Happy NGD!
If you see one with P90s, let me know?
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

That looks cool, I’m not into the whole offset thing but I do like this one. Nice score
