Thoughts on the Taylor GS mini? I really like the sound of the mahogany one…
I can't comment on the GS mini but the Baby Taylor (3/4 size dreadnought) is great. Body size is comfy if you're used to solidbody electrics, and it's quite playable up the neck. It does lack projection if you're playing unplugged to an audience, but the electro-acoustic version will sort that.

Do you think my Walden might tick your boxes? I was just in the shed making up a big box for my guitar cases but the large Walden case wouldn't fit. For a moment there I thought, oh fuck it. I'll just sell it.

Would need to try it first and cash poor till my bonus comes in but sounds like you should keep it if its as good as it sounds!!
Ahhh I think you're right, for some reason I thought it had a rosewood top too!
The Walden is spruce & rosewood
Actually, I was going to ask you for a bit of info so I could list it and seem like I know what I'm talking about...?
All solid wood construction. Indian Rosewood B&S, spruce top. Grand Auditorium shape & size. 1&3/4 string spacing at the nut, 25&1/2" scale. Rosewood fretboard. Gloss finish (but its is water-based I think). Walden use good quality woods for their top models (such as this) and their construction is usually excellent too.
