I'm putting together a pedal board, mostly for looping, mostly for acoustic. The time-based effects will be wired in stereo. I want to be able to easily switch out the acoustic pre-amp and connect in an electric guitar amp.

I'm hoping those who have experience here can help me out if I'm overlooking something. So if you see something that does not look right to you, please let me know!

Here is the plan, before connecting everything.

I've tried to order the pedals so that the ones at the front are the ones I will likely use the most...so they are not in 'signal order'
Signal path would be:

Guitar [mono] ->
Tuner
Compressor
Overdrive
Octave
acoustic pre-amp [stereo] ->
Delay
Reverb
Looper
-> PA

If I want to use the same board for electric, and use a real amp, then...

I've never made a board with only 1 o/d pedal before...it feels weird.

So looking at your pedals, you aren't going to use the reverb and delay available on the Stomp?

These Stomps have cult following and there is some very cool software for them.

Yes, the AG-Stomp is a cool (if rather dated) pre-amp. It simulates different mic types, which help to correct for the quackiness of some acoustic pickups. And because it is programmable, it makes it easy to swap from (say) a dreadnought with a piezo to a classical guitar with an inbuilt mic. There are probably better bits of kit around these days, but this is what I have

No, I won't use the delay or verb it offers, but I will probably use its chorus, which I like.

Any opinions on a Martin D15?

It's actually the d15 special, which has a spruce top along with the mahogany back and sides, a limited run for a US chain, the nearest relative of which is the d15m out here which is all mahogany.

I've been offered one in trade for my Furch (retail is about the same) but if there's any words of wisdom, send them my way.

Hmm... not sure if it's just how it was recorded, or played, or whatever, but it didn't sound particularly resonant to me. It looks amazing, but didn't sound terribly inspiring.

Yes it's different; it's meant to be. I'd soooo love to play that!

I shouldn't be allowed out without proper supervision....

I have huge respect for my GS-7 Taylor. Among other talents, it inspired Taylor's best selling product; the GS Mini so getting one was probably inevitable. It's got a pretty Walnut back as well.

First impression is it'll be a perfect go anywhere knockabout guitar; exactly what it says on the tin.
