Like those kids in the 90s who glued huge chunks of fiberglass to their hot hatches, while I never appreciated the style, I always very much appreciated the craftsmanship and skill involved.

This is similar.
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

I love it! A proper resurrection story. While I might regret the single coil rout, what you have done with the wreckage is brilliant.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Nope. Used the old bits. They were more-or-less still the right size and usable. New top would have been waaaaay too much work.

I think full credit should be given here for bringing that wreck back from the dead.
