NLPD: '19 BBR5 LPC

Just picked up a 2019 Japan limited run 1955 Black Beauty Reissue. Mahogany cap, long tenon, true historic parts (whatever that means) etc.

4.24kg which is fairly light for a non-weight relief Custom. I've seen weight-relived ones at 4.5kg+.

59 neck profile ie not a baseball bat but not too thin either.

The stock pickups are surprisingly crunchy and can do thrash metal with amp gain turned up. I do have a BKP Pig90 on order though.

I'm stealing the seller's pics since he's a much better photographer than me...

very cool !
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Would it be rude to ask what it cost?

The current list price of BBR’s are more than R9’s, the used price reflects that too.

Is it wrong to have another man's guitar as your wallpaper...?

Anybody got one of these tucked under the bed and ready to sell?

It's the only LP I'd have other than a '59 reissue. Love Grant's 70s one too.
