What’s the going rate these days for an average U.S. Standard Tele?

To be honest that’s my feeling about all guitars based on what’s on TM. Haven’t been into guitar much recently so not having kept up it was a shock to see what things are being listed for.Molly wrote: ↑Wed Jul 28, 2021 7:36 pmMore than it's worth.Thewilltopowerrock wrote: ↑Wed Jul 28, 2021 7:31 pm What’s the going rate these days for an average U.S. Standard Tele?

It's a royal piss-take, eh? Not sure how much of it is selling though.Thewilltopowerrock wrote: ↑Wed Jul 28, 2021 8:03 pmTo be honest that’s my feeling about all guitars based on what’s on TM. Re: Deep-Seated Psychological Illness
Just got delivery of a Fender Strat Professional II HSS in mystic green. From the States. Couldn't get the Miami blue colour I wanted. PM me for price details on how to land one cheapish.

Can vouch for Strat. That's saying a lot given I can't Strat.

Re: Deep-Seated Psychological Illness
I am tossing up an MJT but based off rough calculations it would cost the same or more than a second hand American standard.robthemac wrote: ↑Wed Jul 28, 2021 8:48 pmPartcasters get more tempting every day.Molly wrote: ↑Wed Jul 28, 2021 8:19 pmIt's a royal piss-take, eh? Re: Deep-Seated Psychological Illness
Partscasters are an exercise in self-fulfilment because you never get their value back on resale. I think of the 6 I’ve put together I broke even once.
