Art on a guitar?
Whilst I'm generally a fan of solid colour adorning my guitar bodies (natural woodgrain is out for me), there are a few art/graphic finishes I like. In the heavy metal realms of Jackson, BC Rich & ESP there has been many a cheesy fail of art finishes.
However, my Ibanez RGT HRG1 gets it right! Beautifully finished with the N.Y. City XIX artwork by H.R. GIGER, it has an industrial look that embodies the low tuned grind output of the guitar itself!
How about you? Art on a guitar or NO!
Got pics?

Re: Art on a guitar?
Well, when I saw the thread Title my immediate reaction was NO, then I opened the thread and saw you picture and said Yes under certain circumstances, and that is one of them. Nice.
It some ways it's not a lot different from a Steel Dobro with the palm or something etched on it, which I have one of. and then I think of the Trussart steel ones which is another thing again.
I do like your one, even if it is as far away from me in style as you could get!

And although the Trussarts themselves aren't my jam, you'd be hard pressed to find a finer art piece in the guitar world. They truly are something to behold.

Re: Art on a guitar?
I like John Squire’s pollack inspired guitars
Can never bring myself to do something like that to my own gear though.
I guess I did put a pin-up sticker on a relic strat once, but got sick of it pretty quickly.

A nice relic job can be art IMO.

I really like that, seriously cool retro sci-fi vibes.
Not familiar with Walla Walla, will have to check them out.
