NGD- Tele Elite
about two months ago I won a competition that 'Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes' did for the Stagehand charity.
The prize was a Fender Telecaster Elite that was one of their guitarists actual stage guitars.
Today it finally turned up (was a long wait that's for sure).
It isn't a model that I would naturally lean towards, but after an initial play it is pretty rad.

Congratulations! That'd be a great workhorse guitar if you were so inclined. Might need a plastic tip for the pickup switch, or at least keep a first aid kit in the case.

I like these guitars. I need a fix tail, fender scale, black, recessed heel, binding. It has these things.
In life, don't sweat the petty stuff, and don't pet the sweaty stuff.

For the Elite, it was Mystic Black. The Texas Tea finish was only introduced on the subsequent Ultra series.

There are a few dings on the fretboard, and the body, but I’m all good with that, I quite like a guitar I don’t feel too precious about.
New strings and crank up the AC15 on the weekend to try it out properly is on the cards I guess.
