So my Greco arrived (NGD pending as it's fucking unbelievable)
But it has a missing switch tip
Now do they have a screw on and or a push on as there is no thread (would it have snapped).
Is it worth replacing the whole switch and would that be deminishing the age of the parts ect .
And would any switch do or is there a brand that stands out .
Switch tip education

Re: Switch tip education
I'd replace with new, maybe relic the tip a bit if you want. Keep the original in the case so someone could return to "original" condition if they want to.
Might have to be careful with picking a new switch, it could potentially be an odd size.

If you need a replacement switch look for a Switchcraft or Gotoh (half the price and just as good quality). The size/fit is standardised, just make sure you don't get the long ones. You need this type:

That's the Gotoh, MIJ.

Don't get caught-out by metric / imperial sizing. Chris Buck mentions it in this.

Made in America = Imperial
Made in Rest of World = Metric.
Uk gave up the stupidity in the early 70's, but with Brexit they're probably going to re-introduce it.
