Naaa. Well, hopefully not. That certainly wasn't my intention.

Happy NGD Ed! A great looking high end/spec'd signature model from your favourite guitarist that you got (I'm assuming) a great deal on - seems like a lot to celebrate!!

Not my intention either, I think our threads just drift anyway. Good job our moderators are working hard to keep things on track.
And that Les Paul. Great guitar in my view. And more versatile with that bridge.

Hello and welcome to the forum!
Let us know a bit more about yourself and what gear you have, but don't forget the number of posts you need before selling anything here.

All you need is just a little...Molly wrote: ↑Tue May 11, 2021 1:17 pmThere's no reaction in the natural world faster than mine when it comes to turning off the radio at the opening chords of G&R's 'Patience'.olegmcnoleg wrote: ↑Tue May 11, 2021 12:20 pmYep, that was my reaction too, no redeeming qualities at all.
Sorry, Ed, but you know these threads tend to drift.

Thanks!
Yep it has a Fishman Powerbridge in it. During the Velvet Revolver tours he used the piezo bridge when doing acoustic songs like this:
That sounds *super* direct too, probably could have used just a little processing.
To be honest I doubt I'll ever really use it
That sounds acoustic enough for me to cover the base of wanting an acoustic sound for your gig but not wanting to cart along another guitar for a handful of songs.
Feeling kinda tempted to look at getting one (the piezo bridge, not a customshop Slash LP, though it would look good with the AFD amp).

Not at all. It was Ed himself who posted that fucking awful song.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

When you do, I have a spare LR Baggs stompox preamp that would be just the business.jimi wrote: ↑Tue May 11, 2021 4:06 pmslash-ed wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 2:52 pm

Re: A Super Slash-Ed NGD
Badass NGD Ed. Slash has had somewhat of a renaissance in my house lately. My son has discovered his self-titled solo album. There's some great songs on there, but he replays Ghost a million times a day. No complaints though, love that solo.
Loving it so far

Lovely purchase Ed
I’d forgotten about that old classic. I can’t recall who I sold it to but it was actually a cracker. But glad to see you’ve scored the upgrade

Re: A Super Slash-Ed NGD
There was one circulating in the forum about 8 years ago, around the $2,500 mark. Sam the Bogan had it for a while, but didn't bond with it.

This thread inspired me to try harder to avoid off-topic posts. I'm aware that that in itself is an off-topic post...
I would like another Les Paul mind.
