Agree with the 11-56 d'addarios for drop c on Gibson scale. I like that the g (well f) isn't thick as fuck like in most of the 11-54 sets around.
So many good passives around for lower tunings, I've got a bkp warpig in my Gibson sg, lace dissonant aggressors in yamaha sg, someother bkps and rail hammers in my lesser used drop c guitars.

I still think the Duncan Distortion is a mighty pissed off sounding pickup. Doesn't have the clarity of the BKPs I've played, but then again I can't play for shit either!

I put one in my Ibanez about a thousand years ago, it's a remarkable pickup considering the age of the design.
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.
