NGD: 1975 Greco N60
The Greco N60 is an all maple es175 copy. Said to come from Greco's best period of production, it's quite acoustically resonant for a laminate top. This one has got some dings but it's pretty well-loved. Sounding very good with IMOCD's compton bridge I'm thinking of re-chroming the tailpiece if it's not toooo expensive... otherwise ordering an aliexpress replacement at some stage.
Since my dad is over in Aus and I haven't seen him in a couple of years now due to the lockdowns, I've decided to embark on jazz (and chet atkins style) proficiency to play for the old man and make up for all the teenage years of annoying punk, rock and metal. I really love chord melody, but it's a super demanding style. Naturally, I had to start with the correct type of guitar
If you'd like to hear the Greco, I've uploaded some recordings to soundcloud. Dad's into bebop and all that scrabble jazz, so playing old standards is the compromise. All the arrangements are pulled from the internet. Working on the theory after the technique...

I got the guitar from a nice bloke in Auckland. He has a similar but much darker sounding 1969 model for sale if anyone is interested. Quality stuff.
Cheers for reading!

mate, you are hard to keep up with.
A Tele.
you might need to get back into Metal.

There are still some that think the neck PU is moved to accommodate the extra frets which only proves they cannot detect the difference in length of each.

dunno about that. after Raven changed from Tellys to strats they sounded 2% heavier.

Re: NGD: 1975 Greco N60
imo would be cooler playing jazz on a shredder.
when I was at jazz school in the 90`s, one of the guitarists used an S series Ibanez into a 5150. another guy used an SG into a Laney.
the other guy had the guitar as big as a Chevy.
all three were exceptional but the dude with the S series had the best Jazz Tone.
