Gibson "Satch" Goldtop
Was perusing the sold photos on guitars rock the other day.......and this hit me in the face like a shovel.....
Gibson's Satch/Snatch clone! Wow!
Not a bad clone of the original I recon.....: https://www.lespaulforum.com/index.php? ... ch.194355/
Does anyone know if it went to a forum member?

Re: Gibson "Satch" Goldtop
Yeah Gibson's attempts at 'greening' the goldtop finish seem to always miss the mark. Which is a little strange because their current gold pigment does green up naturally given enough play/sweat. Anyone catch this blunder a few years back? https://youtu.be/cjNFjbX0m2Q

Re: Gibson "Satch" Goldtop
Pretty hard for Gibson CS to replicate the original wear on Snatch.........it was a very lightweight gat also at under 8lbs.
That's my ideal setup with the P90/PAF combination..........might do that in future.
