It was inevitable. I am so in love with this R7! It has a big chunky neck but comfortable unlike the baseball bat neck I had on my ex-Fano

Muchas gracias to Phil the great gentleman for this!

Was that the one from Guitars Rock? Don’t suppose you could kindly measure the neck circumference?

Best Lester colour ever.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

🥳

Cut a strip of paper and wrap it around the neck, mark, take off and measure? I’m looking for something similar, but want a huge neck, so trying to gather some intel and compare against what I already have. The usual calliper measurement doesn’t really tell how big the shoulders are. If it’s too much trouble, no dramas, thanks in advance if it is possible though!

There was a thread, started by Jay/JVVP, that catalogued circumferences of various necks. Would be good to add this to the pile so we can compare!

Those measurements don't sound quite right. Check out the "What is your girth" thread. Those numbers would make the neck super skinny, not the typical chunky 50s.

Yeh yeh yeh... I was expecting that. Too easy, not worthy of JB's time, really.

You need to measure all the way around pulling the paper tight. I think you have excluded the fretboard width.
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

Yes, there were actually few more measurements provided but I never got to put them. Can do if people think it is useful...

Oh, and it used to be JvPP, no double V. Just like Slowly is actually Slowy :moresarc:
