Anyone tried this guitar cable, super low capacitance at 52pf/metre? https://www.livesound.co.nz/collections ... spirit-llx
I’m currently using BTPA 0466 at 64pf/metre, which is already pretty low and sounds great.
A mate had a Van Damme Silver cable which was 58pf/metre - it sounded good, but was too thick and stiff for normal use. And the price is extortion.
FWIW - I’m pretty anti snake oil, but we were able to hear a difference between the 0466 & Silver when A/B loop comparing 10m runs. The difference was even greater against other cables with significantly higher capacitance (~100pf/metre, again using ~10m runs) - enough so to form a clear preference.....

Re: Livesound Low Cap Cable?
Mogami platinum is around 21pf per metre, their gold (2524) is around 40pf, cheap, and available at a lot of places (I get mine from rubber monkey). But it depends on length, effects chain (if you have one), buffering, etc.

Excellent - Didn’t think to look there. Might look into the platinum.
