I will be selling my AX8 with all its preset packs. It has been dibs'd currently but waiting for confirmation/funds.

I like the idea of an Fm3 with a few pedals but my wallet does not. I dunno if I could sell my AX8, that old girl has served me well.
Loving it so far

I would say polyphonic pitch shifting like the Pog, a favourite OD or fuzz and that’s just for personal preference.
I run an HX Stomp with a couple of pedals to save dsp.
I have GFI Specular Tempus doing a couple of reverbs and delays, a compressor that’s always on (the comps are fine on the Stomp so just to save dsp) and a couple of my favourite OD pedals/fuzz’s. I have no issue with the line 6 OD pedal emulations though, they sound great! I would like another Pog though!

To clarify, pitch shifting can and is recreated by modellers, the latest update for helix proves that. But at the expense of so much processing. Its handy on a bass to use the poly capo - but not many effects added. If you use a load on guitar, its not going to happen.
I've always found whammy pedals to be more than adequately modelled right from M13 onwards.

So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

The octave effect on the Katana is pretty good too.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Mate has two Laney Ironheart 15w amps with a helix rack in the effects loops in stereo. Has a couple of pedals in the effects loops of the helix too.
