NGD Epiphone Black Beauty
Epiphone Joe Bonamassa Les Paul Custom Black Beauty. Got home late... hungry... needed a shower... but managed to haul it out, a quick check of the setup, and took some crap photos. So far the setup appears to be spot on, but I will plug it in and give it a whirl tomorrow night or this weekend. It's nice and light! I'm quite glad of that, after the horror stories of boat anchor LP Customs.
First time importing a guitar, took frikkin ages, but I seem to have dodge customs/GST! Merry Christmas to me!

Cool bro! Glad they've sorted out that headstock shape. How's it sound?

Looks awesome. The only recurring negative I have read is that these tuners aren't that great, I think a lot of people end up swapping them out for Kluson's
But yeah, looks really nice. Congrats!

That looks wicked!!! you mentioned in the other thread that you weren't sure about the yellow binding - but i think it really 'makes' the guitar!!!

Hmm... the tuner "feels" great, smooth and firm. How it holds tune? Remains to be seen. We'll see...Mini Forklift wrote: ↑Fri Dec 18, 2020 8:13 am Looks awesome. Re: NGD Epiphone Black Beauty
Tuners rarely cause tuning issues, even when they are old and worn. The majority of tuning issues on guitars is because of the nut. The peg spacing on that guitar looks to be an improvement over the standard Gibson headstock.

Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...
