Well that was interesting. The neck I assumed was my smallest, wasn't. Obviously you're not going to get any pencil necks from me.

Korinacaster: 1-117 6-126 12-132

Baja Tele: 1-113 6-122 12-131

G&L Legacy: 1-110 6-120 12-132

Black Benny: 1-112 6-119 12-130

Lowden: 1-114 6-125 12-142

I always thought the Lowden had a small neck.

Some interesting measurements Slowy. What is a Black Benny? Have I seen it? Can you please re-check the middle measurement?

That Lowden sure is erect at the 12th fret

My Rg550 1st 105mm, 6th 117mm, 12th 126m.

It feels like the thinnest neck I have but it is quite wide. The Axis is a bit narrower so feels a bit chunkier in the hand.

Not sure about the profile tbh, but my Ash Radian LP is by far the chunkiest neck I've ever had. I have small hands and always got thinner necks to (attempt to) do the thumb-wrapped chords thing. Using this neck now though, it is the most comfortable neck I've ever used. Thumb wrapping is more or less impossible (I can somewhat mute the low E), but the comfort is worth it.

Measurements:

12.3 - 12.7 - 13.0 (revised numbers using paper instead of soft tape measure for consistency)

That is amazing... that the 'chunkiest' electric so far and beats the current neck I am making. I wonder if Adrian was asked to deliver some chunkiness and some?

I tried it with my blue tele (which is the only guitar I have available right now) and I got what I think is an interesting result. For the record, I love fat necks and especially fat, soft V shaped necks.
The guitar has a Warmoth neck on it, 7.25 radius, soft V, one of 3 I ordered with the same profile. I got;
1st: 112, 6th:122, 12th: 129.
In profile the neck is 1 inch thick from nut to heel.
Not the biggest numbers represented by quite a bit!
1935 Martin D-45, 1942 Gibson Southern Jumbo,1950 Fender Broadcaster, 1954 Fender Strat, 1958 Gibson Moderne prototype, 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard.
1958 Fender twin, 1965 Vox AC30, 1966 Marshall JTM 45, 1977 Dumble OD Special.
Big black garbage bag full of original Klon Centaurs and TS808s.

Just checked the Father in laws tri-cone resonator and it's, 1st: 125, 6th: 134 and the body meets the neck on the twelfth so it's all heel! It's a big fat C shape and it feels (and sounds) amazing.
