If I get it for a dollar I'll expect it by next-day post. ;-)
I really want to ask RaidO what difference gigging a guitar makes. Genuinely curious.
A non-gigged guitar means that either the guitar or the player is not good enough to gig :sarc:

Yeah I've always wondered that. I've not gigged myself since 1993, does that add or subtract to my value?

(Rhetorical - no answers please!)

I haven't really thought about it. What do you guys think that I should be going for? :-)

My Anniversary Standard went for $3,333. So north of $3k for a clean sunburst LP seems doable.

I was thinking that - but I'd probably have to let it sit, and wait for the right buyer wouldn't I? Hopefully I can achieve something close to that, but I'm not holding my breath :-)

I would say $3k is a good asking price for a Standard in good condition like yours is, well that's as far as the buyer is concerned. Guessing an LP Classic could be a little either side of that?

You have the knowledge of what you paid for it, so as long as you get that back in your pocket after TM take their cut. Anything more than that is a nice bonus

Yeah - I listed on the no fees promotion, so even if I don't get top dollar, I'm saving $200ish in fees.

Ah perfect. Well seeing as you won't get pinged for fees I'd be happy to lay down a decent bid if you wanted me to drive it up a bit, gotta be a good thing for the auction too if there's plenty of different people bidding
