NGD: 1993 Gibson 335
Hey guys I don't normally do NGD's, but I got this yesterday. I'd been after one for ages, and one finally came up when I had a bit of money (form selling all my amps.) I'm super stoked with it

That's a beautiful guitar. You need another les paul, when you're ready to swap, I'll be right here.

Dude, that thing is killer! And I hate using the word killer.

That's awful Danny. And it's no use to you at all. How are you going to swap the neck? And do you even have that much orange paint?
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

I'm waiting for Molly to say you've sold him his "forever Gibson".Conway wrote:I have nothing but good things to say about Gibson guitars.

Re: NGD: 1993 Gibson 335
Thanks for the kind words guys. It's the most expensive guitar I've bought, and it was bit of a risk buying it as I had no information on the neck profile, but I got it at a price that I knew I'd be easily be able to re-sell it . I'm super happy with it. I did have a 335 a while ago. I bought it cheap because it had a neck break. It was a nice guitar, but I didn't get on with the neck profile - and it was the cherry red colour (which I didn't really like.) I struggle on Gibsons with bigger necks. Luckily, it's the same neck profile as my Les Paul - which is a huge relief.
There was only a very small hint of flame on the sellers photos, so I'm stoked that the back and front are flamed There is hardly any wear on it. No marks on the top, and only a couple of scratches on the back - yet the pickups/bridge/tailpeice are really worn looking.
