80s AVRI 1960 Strat worth?

Was going to chime-in to say max would be about $2k based on the couple I've owned but things seem to have crept-up. Maybe if it's a desirable colour and in great condition as much as $2,500.

Every one I've had has had frets made of cheese.

I'd agree with Brian.You could buy Avri's all day long for just under 2k a ways back but the asking prices have risen dramatically. Whether the actual selling prices are the same is questionable. That one certainly looks nice.
Haven't experienced the cheese fret syndrome. My Avri Tele has it's originals and is still going strong.

Yes apart from some that think 80s AVRIs command a 4K plus which might well be but I haven’t seen it. The 2-2.5 rings true.

Very nice, like the look of that. As others have said maybe somewhere around the $2k mark or low $2k’s?
