NGD Schecter USA Nick Johnston
I was never a fan of buying a signature model but man this strat is something else
The bolt on neck heel joint is probably the best heel joint I have ever played. Had it for a month now and still loving it.
Only if it is in Nitro then it will be the perfect guitar for me

I've had gas for one of these for ages, how does it compare to a Fender Strat???

It's a modern strat so it is unfair to compare with any vintage spec fender strat.jeremyb wrote:I've had gas for one of these for ages, how does it compare to a Fender Strat???
all the body contour all very comfy and as i said the heel joint is the best i have played - comparing with ibanez AZ, suhr and James Tyler. i think Tome Anderson has the best heel joint tho
They are all true single coils but the bridge PU is a bit flatter and higher output so not as harsh and more usable.
14 inch fret board so i can do legato run all day long
Always hated front jack input so the side jack input is perfect only one tone control is a plus for me but not for everyone.
I believe the body is a little bit smaller than a fender strat.

That's very cool. I like the dark board/neck, what wood is that?
I tried a Schecter strat a while ago in the shop and it felt like a really nice modern strat should.

Re: NGD Schecter USA Nick Johnston
if i must choose between one then the 3 single coils version no doubts! But in reality... there's always ''just one more guitar''jeremyb wrote:I'm so into strat single coils right now, such an amazing tone!!
