Based purely on aesthetics? No 1, then 2... in that order. Would've gone sonic blue first if it had dark fretboard.

I'd go the tele. Not because I'm a tele fan, but the rear covered pickup option on the strat HSS format isn't asthetically to my liking. (Uncovered might be a different story)
No one ever died of hard work.. but why take the risk..
