That's a sonic blue one. Surf green and sonic blue are probably the hardest finishes to photograph. They can vary quite wildly depending on the light.werdna wrote:What colour is it? Sea foam green?

Have you had one before, Molly? The switching did my head in a bit. That was a few years ago though.

I have a meticulously assembled CS 69 drop-in waiting for it. I'll likely then look-out for some decent humbuckers and make another with a three-way.codedog wrote:Have you had one before, Molly? The switching did my head in a bit. That was a few years ago though.

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Hey Conway, just saw a Blue Strat like yours in the Rockshop Westgate. Just in case you feel the need for a matching pair?Conway wrote:LOLZ Keon & Molly. And it doesn't have a black top, are you colour blind?! It's loverly Sonic Blue.

Actually, what I'd really like is to sell my Elite and then get a Cobra Blue Ultra to match my just arrived Cobra Blue Tele & Jazzmaster!!!

Re: UNGD: Fender Blacktop Strat
Arrived today. The neck on this thing is bloody lovely. Nice grain and colour. Doesn't have that brand new feel even though it effectively is. Nut is cut properly. Just feels really comfortable. Profile is somewhere between my CS60 Strat and Baja Tele. Two piece body. Humbuckers aren't too hot. Controls are a bit stiff and the trem might get a largely unnecessary upgrade. Will fit the vintage style Klusons I have once I get some conversion bushes.
Big thank you to KNNZ.
