I've seen many a Friedman or Marshall head that he'll buy and next week it's up for sale for $1k-$2k more than he paid for it. If you check out the Q&A for many of the expensive Marshall's on TM he quite often has comments in there; either saying he's keen and saying he wants to sort a time for pickup (just need to sort out the cash blah blah blah), or he'll ask if there's a cab included because surely for that price it can't just be the head.

He also seems obsessed with NOS tubes and caps. If you don't have them in your Marshall it's probably not worth anything. He's 100% twat through-and-through.

Do we include traders with bad practice such as always lowballing/offering irrelevant items for wanted ads/punishing enthusiasm? Id wager most peoples blacklists are full of such transgressions but i think the intent of the thread was more about getting your fingers burnt.

Yeah, that's why I haven't uploaded my blacklist, because there are people on there for low balling and others that I've forgotten what happened. Some people will blacklist you for asking inquisitive questions.

The intention of this thread was to log shitty experiences, being ripped off, goods not as described, or traders who have been extremely painful to deal with.

To be fair, this needs to come with at least the story of what happened and maybe some evidence of you've got it. If there was an actual transaction, there should have been an opportunity for the person to make it right.

Minor annoyances don't really count. Lots of people lowball and onsell, even people on here. So keep that in mind guys and adjust your posts if you need to.

That got me thinking... I know potential buyers low balling is a fairly common thing. Is seller high balling a thing? I meant agreeing on a price then, after a goodly period of broken communication, decided they want more...

Yeah, I know it's not what we're after on this list. Just wondered if it's a thing, and how common compared to its lowering cousin.
