Baritone Madness

Post by Slowy »

I have an acoustic baritone; love the voice.

https://www.trademe.co.nz/a.aspx?id=150 ... 5F45574B03

Help!
Talk me through this:
This looks like a heavy metaller's axe.. Silverburst!
It will need Pups; what should they be?
My Baritone needs to do deep twang; Is it even possible with this?

Just tell me it's a dumb idea; I don't need another project.

Staind sig model, decent guitar though.

If you need twang, maybe get some adapters from GFS so you can mount tele pickups in it:

Amps:
Soldano SLO100 x2 | Wizard MC1 & MC2 | Diezel Herbert
Fryette Pittbull CL | Marshall 2203KK | Krank Rev 50 | Mesa Mark 2A

Rack stuff:
VHT/Fryette GP3, GP/DI & 2/90/2 | Peters FSM/Chimera
Verellen Meatsmoke | Synergy SYN1 | Mesa Studio

Buy it, it will be great for your new death metal band.

Do you mean twangy like an old long-scale Fender 6 string?

i can't imagine anything more twangy than your Tele though...

It's tacky, but it's a PRS so that's probably unavoidable.

Don't buy it?

Like that but deeper. 200 years ago, I'd be a cello player.

Yeah, don't necessarily need that much twang. Best sounding baritone I ever heard was a Fender Jazzmaster Baritone HH. Ask Grant, he played it too.

thats a good deal, prime candidate for a refin.
I had the 277 and that was totally an un-heavy metal guitar, even when in my hands.Coil splits and low gain pickups

No thanks, I'm trying to ignore it. Doozy, new computer, long Xmas break and one unfinished SE project already, means I should probably pull my head in.
