Interesting way of doing the tuners. Did you need to add any extra reinforcing in their anywhere - or is there no extra tension/forces due to the scale length?

Nothing extra, the ferrules are on the inside of the slot but that's about it,

Here's my latest telecaster.
Gold flake, done by Marty Bell in USA. He's a bit of a name.
All Parts body and neck. Neck is baseball bat, with the back of the headstock transitioning straight into the back of the neck with no carve away or relief.
Seymour Duncan vintage 50s bridge pickup.
Twisted tele front pickup. Thanks Grant.
Fender vintage bridge.

I call it Golden Shower.

I personally would have opted for something sparkly.

Nice! Looks like something John Jorgenson would do.
And that is never a bad thing.

And I love Twisted Tele's as a lead voice; so expressive.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

The Ultra is a bit warmer, not ice pick treble p/u. Teles feel tight and I string with 10s but thinking of going to 9s. The refinements get a thumbs up - belly cut, indiv saddles, proper tuning pegs, deep C neck with satin finish, reduced neck heel and noiseless pickups. Looks like a new car. Made for gigging, if band doesn't implode and COVID backs the f*** off.

It was pretty easy actually - I shoot the nitro so it is hard and glassy. Dropped the body in the freezer for maybe 20 mins. Tadaaahhh. Looks great in the flesh and is opening up more. The hardware is a mix of real vintage Fender stuff and relic...all seems to match pretty good. It's very hard to take a photo of lacquer checking.

That Strat that you did some work on did nothing in my freezer. I think I had to sand off too much of the gloss coat to even out the finish. Have you used compressed air?
