Interesting way of doing the tuners. Did you need to add any extra reinforcing in their anywhere - or is there no extra tension/forces due to the scale length?

Nothing extra, the ferrules are on the inside of the slot but that's about it,

Here's my latest telecaster.
Gold flake, done by Marty Bell in USA. He's a bit of a name.
All Parts body and neck. Neck is baseball bat, with the back of the headstock transitioning straight into the back of the neck with no carve away or relief.
Seymour Duncan vintage 50s bridge pickup.
Twisted tele front pickup. Thanks Grant.
Fender vintage bridge.

I call it Golden Shower.

Nice! Looks like something John Jorgenson would do.
And that is never a bad thing.

And I love Twisted Tele's as a lead voice; so expressive.
