That's Swiss francs. CH is also the Swiss web suffix.Slowy wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2025 6:59 pmI don't know. It wasn't in any currency I understand.

CHF stands for Confoederatio Helvetica franc, the Latin name for the Swiss Confederation.

Everything is expensive in Switzerland.
I was perusing a music store in Zurich when in the country for work years ago... Childish, but I couldn't resist the urge to plink a note or two on the 6-figure CHF pricetag pianos

Yes I've had the CHF shock when some Swiss watch brand I've never heard of gets a review article in my Google news feed. The "oh that's nice, I'll just convert from CHF to NZD and JESUS H... that's more than I paid for the BYD!" moment.Slowy wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2025 5:02 pmJaysuz! Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and he'll spend thousands on fishing equipment he'll use for a bit, then get bored and move onto something else.

Funny how that works. Watching Squid Game and they're talking about a "half a billion won reward", and that translates to like 600k NZD.Danger Mouse wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2025 8:31 amYes I've had the CHF shock when some Swiss watch brand I've never heard of gets a review article in my Google news feed. Re: Return of the Gibson shocker thread!
TL;DR youtuber posts that Randall Smith was fired when the staff were told he retired, Gibson asks him to take it down, he does, then it ends up going viral and they drop him as a Mesa artist, and yeah Randall was fired.
Just keep me where the light is
