These models were both shockers when introduced. 83 Korina V and 76 Explorer LE.

They look pretty cool now.

:lol: It's mahogany though.

For me it's the instrument equivalent of a '59 Buick Invicta, with those big 'ol wings. I love how balanced Explorers feel.

The back of that neck, and most Fender CS guitars, just looks awful.

That was what got me, too.
Nobody, least of all your significant other, would believe you had spent that much money on that guitar. Everyone would assume you found it in a junk shop.
