Re: Return of the Gibson shocker thread!
I was wondering when/if someone was going to post those.
I love the Explorer headstock, the ebony board and 24 frets. I like the bevel on the top showing the two different woods - what I don't like is the overall body shape (top horn in particular) and the pickguard.
Not their worst effort though. Much nicer than the original, with it's Firebird headstock, that doesn't match the rest.

Whoever looked at modern PRS burst schemes and thought "yeah let's copy that, but not their quality/reliability features"

I actually can. It's a Tokai and was doing the rounds a few years ago on meme boards. Airbrushed and called the "me too edition" which seems gross and stupid all at the same time.

It’s something no 15 year old could actually afford.
Don't talk to me about failure; sometimes I even fail to disappoint myself.

It's listed under "Electric guitar" -> "Deformed guitar". They're not wrong!

I've always liked the moderne and the headstock, even with the built in 'String Butler'.
Would own, but not at that price though.

You could put a calliper on that club foot and be done with it!
