It's the Gibson certificate of authenticity. The Chinese can't copy it.

Maybe if the USA took a page out of China's labour laws we might get some damn QC from Gibson.

But how would you tell them from Eastmans?

These models were both shockers when introduced. 83 Korina V and 76 Explorer LE.
They look pretty cool now.

It's mahogany though.
For me it's the instrument equivalent of a '59 Buick Invicta, with those big 'ol wings. I love how balanced Explorers feel.

I read that in my mind as "... that V is giving me vood". That made me giggle.

The back of that neck, and most Fender CS guitars, just looks awful.robthemac wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 9:15 pm Fender giving Gibson a run for their money: https://reverb.com/item/79291494-fender ... ster-relic

Nobody, least of all your significant other, would believe you had spent that much money on that guitar. Everyone would assume you found it in a junk shop.robthemac wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 10:01 pmThat was what got me, too.GrantB wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 9:26 pmThe back of that neck, and most Fender CS guitars, just looks awful.robthemac wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 9:15 pm Fender giving Gibson a run for their money: https://reverb.com/item/79291494-fender ... ster-relic
