Might be a model without F holes....
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

It's an ES-333. They all had the hatch on the back. If you've ever tried to rewire a 335 you'll understand what a godsend that idea was.

Nice little guitar though and very well spec'd for a simple rocker! Found it for $240 at a pawn shop.

Nope, for NZD10,000 or so, I'd prefer the old fashioned, intact, backside :D

I reckon BB King had the right idea. Get rid of the F holes and put an access panel on the back.

So a chambered Les Paul?

For me the ergonomics of a 33X are more like an oversized chambered SG than an LP.

Yeah, it's a Tom Delonge 333. I grabbed it because it was cheap and I figured I'd flick it on and make some cash but it's an excellent guitar so it's staying for now. Big fat neck, gibson pickup, grovers. Rock n roll monster!

Agreed. Never seen that before on a (I'm assuming) 345.
